Independent Game Development
We build games that respect the player's intelligence. No hand-holding. No illusions. Just systems deep enough to get lost in.
Our First Title ↓About the Studio
Broken Sigil Studio is an independent game studio focused on creating deeply systemic, simulation-driven games. We believe the best games emerge when every mechanic earns its place and every system interacts with the others in ways the designer didn't fully predict.
Our debut title, ZERO DAY, is a realistic hacking simulation built in Godot Engine — a game where the terminal isn't a gimmick, it's the entire interface. We're building it one system at a time, with the same methodology our game teaches: patience, precision, and knowing when to improvise.
Systems that reward curiosity and mastery over time spent. Complexity where it matters, clarity everywhere else.
No invisible walls. No scripted outcomes. The simulation runs, and you decide what to do with it.
Open development. No predatory monetization. A premium game that respects both your wallet and your time.
Built with extensibility in mind. Custom contracts, OS identities, and tools — the community shapes the game.
Our Debut Title
Hack / Exploit / Escape
A single-player hacking simulation where you build your rig, choose your operating system, and breach procedurally generated networks using real methodology — with an adaptive realism system that scales from accessible power fantasy to genuine cybersecurity simulation, all through a fully diegetic tiled terminal interface.
Scan networks, enumerate services, and breach targets using real-world methodology adapted for gameplay.
Discover CVEs, chain exploits, and escalate privileges through a simulated vulnerability ecosystem.
Navigate procedurally generated network topologies spanning corporate LANs, cloud infrastructure, and IoT meshes.
Manage heat, cover your tracks, and evade detection. Every action has a noise cost — stealth is a resource.
Script Kiddie, Operator, or APT. The same simulation engine powers three levels of technical depth — one game, three experiences.
CPU, RAM, NIC, GPU, cooling — every component shapes your capabilities. Your hardware is your character sheet.
Choose your operating system identity. Each OS changes your available tools, visual presentation, and gameplay style.
